Life & Opinion editor
Darlene Shue
Darlene Shue spent eighteen years running the front office at Millbrook Elementary before she started writing for the Ledger's Life section in 2019, which is why she can get a retiring librarian or a county fair judge talking inside of five minutes. She also edits the paper's opinion submissions, trimming guest columns down to the argument that's actually in them. She still keeps a shoebox of thank-you notes from sources who told her nobody had asked them that before.
